I'm a Certified Public Accountant with over 15 years of experience across public accounting, corporate finance, and outsourced accounting.

I started at CohnReznick, a top public accounting firm, auditing nonprofits, real estate entities, and tax credit funds — work that taught me what auditors actually look for and how to build books that hold up under scrutiny. From there, I moved into industry, eventually becoming assistant controller at a healthcare technology startup, where I built out the accounting function as the company scaled from $7M to $30M in revenue.

With experience as a partner at an outsourced accounting firm, I've done exactly the kind of work I offer here — and I sit on the board of a wildlife conservation nonprofit myself, so I understand nonprofit finances from the inside, not just as an outside provider.

Today, I focus on three kinds of clients:

Nonprofits

Who need books they can stand behind at audit or board review, plus grant and reserve reporting.

Government contractors

Who need a chart of accounts, cost tracking, and timekeeping set up the way federal work requires.

Small businesses

Who need reliable bookkeeping and financial operations, and want to see which work is actually profitable.

I'm a licensed CPA in Virginia and Maryland. I work remotely and paperlessly, so wherever you're based, we can work together without the back-and-forth of physical paperwork.

Off the clock. I love the outdoors, winter especially, and try to get out on the cross country ski trails whenever I can.
